Objectives: Provide Anti-corrosive, chemical resistance coating.
It was very challenging job as the Press Machine was 60 years old and due to the extreme corrosion machine was prone to the structural damage
causing capital and operational loss to the client. Job has to be done in shutdown period of 10 days.

Major challenge was the surface preparation for the press machine, as due to the extreme corrosion surface corroded extremely. We started surface preparation by doing chipping and removing old coating and damaged part. After that we did surface grinding using wire and paper wheels till achieved bare white metal.

After surface preparation we started priming the all machine parts with our GS MP 510 Primer, which provides good adhesion to metal substrate and provides corrosion protection. Can be overcoated with Epoxy, PU, VE, Silicon based Top Coats.

After priming we started with 2 Top coats of Our KOROGREEN GF 5500 system. This system provides anti corrosive protection with chemical resistance to wide variety of chemicals.

This protective coating helped the client increase life span of press machine and reducing the capital expenditure significantly.
